Incident Summary:

4/2/2007: Members of Al-Qa ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) attacked forward security post manned by Algerian soldiers and municipal guardsmen in Mechounech, Algeria. Three soldiers were killed and five others were wounded. Two municipal guardsmen were wounded as well.
