Incident Summary:

04/12/2007: A suicide bomber detonated his explosives inside a café in the Green Zone of Baghdad, Iraq, killing eight people and wounding 20 more. Two members of parliament (MPs) and a parliamentary official were among those who were killed, and many of the wounded were also MPs. Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attack.
