Incident Summary:

05/06/2007: A Taliban suicide bomber rammed his car into a police vehicle killing two Afghan police officers in Kabul, Afghanistan. This was part of a six hour long gun battle between police officers and Taliban militants which resulted in an additional eight dead police officers. The number of dead and injured Taliban militants was not reported. The type of firearms used was not reported. The motivation for the attacks was not reported though it was perceived that the attack pertained to an on-going hostage deal.
