05/10/2007: A roadside bomb blew up near the car of Ahmed Tariq al-Hashimi, son of Sunni vice president. The explosion took place in the Amriyah neighborhood of Baghdad, Iraq. Ahmed survived the attack though he suffered several wounds. No group claimed responsibility. Specific motivations for the attack remain unknown.
