Incident Summary:

5/11/2007: In a series of two attacks that might have been related, unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, detonated a bomb in an abandoned house targeting municipal guardsmen in Beni Mahboub, Algeria. One member of the municipal guard was killed and two others were wounded. Reports also suggest that another bomb at the scene might have been defused by Algerian security forces.
