05/16/2007: Unknown Nigerian militants blew up Vice President-Elect Goodluck Jonathan’s country house in Otu-Eke village in southern Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Jonathan was not home at the time. There were no fatalities or injuries reported at Jonathan’s house. Additionally, there was no report of the extent of damage to the house. No claim of responsibility was reported.
