05/17/2007: Suicide car bomber rams his car into Kandahar governor’s convoy, killing 3 civilians and wounding 4 government employees in Kandahar, Afghanistan. One of the wounded was Afghan Minister of Information and Culture Abdul Karim Khoram. No one claimed responsibility but Kandahar Governor Assadullah Khalid believes it was the Taliban.
