Incident Summary:

08/09/2007: The al Qaida affiliated ‘Huthis,’ a Yemeni gang, armed with rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns attacked Yemeni government targets and clashed with police in Marib, Yemen. The gunmen struck police checkpoints, a government building and an electricity sub-station. It is not known if anyone was killed or injured.
