Incident Summary:

08/11/2007: Suspected Islamist-led rebels carried out ambush attacks against government military bases in northern Mogadishu, Somalia. Approximately seven were killed in the fighting. It is uncertain how many were injured. The insurgents used grenades, rocket propelled grenades, and machine guns to fire at the government military base.
