Incident Summary:

10/15/2007: Two suspected members of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) disguised themselves as civilians and opened fire at a police post in Thoddaveli, Mannar, Sri Lanka around 1:00pm. Two police constables died from injuries sustained during the attack while being treated at Mannar hospital. The two suspected LTTE members were thought to be women.
