Incident Summary:

10/22/2007: A civilian, Rathnasami Premasiri, was returning from the jungle with firewood when his cart hit a mine in Uppuveli, Sri Lanka. The civilian was killed, as was two bullocks belonging to the victim, and the cart was destroyed. The land mine was planted by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
