Additional Information Their bodies, some of which had been decapitated, were subsequently discovered in and around Matta (whether en masse or singularly was unspecified in open sources). The attack came in retaliation for a Pakistani Army assault on the madrasa of pro-Taliban cleric Maulana Fazlullah in Imam Dheri. This was the second of two retaliatory killings for that assault on October 26.
