Incident Summary:

1/12/2008: Three people, including 10 year-old Rakesh Paswan, were injured when members from Jantantrik Terai Mukti Morcha - Prithvi Singh (JTMM-P) detonated a bomb in Parsa, Nepal. The three injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, the outcome of which is unknown. The JTMM-P Parsa district leader claimed responsibility for the attack in a call to local radio stations, but the motive behind the attack is unknown.

Additional Information Two other locals were also injured when the bomb exploded at around 6pm, local time. All three were taken to Narayani Sub-regional Hospital in Birgunj for treatment. Attack appears to be connected with attack GTD ID# 200801120003.
