Incident Summary:

01/23/2008: Unknown perpetrators kidnapped the wife of an Assistant Commissioner of Police in Nigeria at the Mile 4 area of Port Harcourt in Rivers State. The resolution of the kidnapping is unknown. Gunmen blocked her on Agip Junction highway as she was transporting her 6 children to school. She was dragged out and thrown into the gunmen's jeep, along with her children. The children were later abandoned at the East-West Road.
