Incident Summary:

02/18/2008: In Pattani, Thailand, two civilians were injured when they were gunned down while they were riding a motorcycle. One individual was able to escape, but the other individual was captured, doused in gasoline, and burned alive. Although no group has claimed responsibility for these attacks, the perpetrators are believed to be Islamic militants opposed to the Muslim majority.
