Incident Summary:

02/22/2008: In Roonyal area of Matta, Swat District, Pakistan, a truck filled with members of a wedding party was targeted by militants while it was en route from Ochray village to Dorkat village. Sixteen people, including 6 children, were killed and 12 were injured when a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated also destroying two cars in the process. No group claimed responsibility for this attack.
