Incident Summary:

03/10/2008: One man was killed and six others were wounded as a powerful bomb ripped through a commercial area of Colombo, Sri Lanka at 6:45am. The improvised explosive device was hidden in a flower bed in the middle of Galle Road. Eight shops and two vehicles were damaged in the blast. Military authorities believe that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) were behind the attack.
