Incident Summary:

03/12/2008: The Popular Resistance Committee, a group loyal to Hamas, claimed to have fired three mortar shells on an Israeli commercial crossing point in southeast Gaza Strip. There were no casualties. They claim it was a response to the Israeli army operations in West Bank where soldiers killed a militant from the Islamic Jihad. The al-Nasser Saladin Brigade, the armed wing of the PRC, also claimed the shells hit Kerem Shalom crossing on the point where Gaza, Egypt and Israel borders meet.
