Incident Summary:

3/20/2008: Ashok Kumar Yadav, a Communist Party of Nepal - Unified Marxist-Leninist candidate, was stabbed numerous times by suspected Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) activists in Rajbiraj, Saptari, Nepal. Though JTMM did not claim responsibility for the attack, they had stated previously that they were opposed to the election to choose a constituent assembly.
