04/01/2008: On Tuesday, at 0610, at Murunkan government hospital, in Murunkan area, Mannar, Sri Lanka, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) militant opened 120mm artillery fire on the hospital, damaging it. No casualties or motive were reported and no group claimed responsibility.
