4/4/2008: On Friday, police defused a remote-control bomb outside a McDonald's restaurant in Kadikoy district in Istanbul, Turkey. The home-made device contained a mobile telephone which had received several calls but failed to detonate. No group claimed responsibility for the attempted bombing.
