4/8/2008: Members of Al-Qa ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) remotely detonated a bomb targeting Algerian soldiers returning to their barracks near Lakhdaria, Algeria. One soldier was killed and it is unknown if the blast caused any property damage.
