Incident Summary:

4/18/2008: On Friday, Wilbert Vivanco Farfan attempted to hijack Peruvian airline Aerocondor on the flight between Arequipa and Lima. Vivanco threatened the lives of passengers and crew if he was not allowed to speak with Peru's President Alan Garcia. The crew subdued him 15 minutes before the plane landed in Lima. No casualties were reported.
