4/29/2008: On Tuesday, the director of Sadiyah town, Samir al Sadi, was injured in an improvised explosive device blast that targeted his convoy while he was leaving the building of the directorate at approximately 1220 in downtown Sadiyah town, Diyala province, Iraq. One of his guards was killed, and two other civilians injured. There were no claims of responsibility for the attack.
