04/29/2008: On Tuesday night, in an area near Campo Seis Tibu , Norte de Santander, Colombia, armed assailants detonated a bomb near an oil pipeline, damaging the pipeline but causing no injuries. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed that the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC)) was responsible.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
