05/01/2008: On Thursday, at 2020, insurgents threw a grenade at a mosque in Nong Chik, Pattani, Thailand. Two people were killed in the explosion and 10 others were injured. The explosion caused damage to the mosque’s ceiling, shattered windows and left a crater in the prayer area floor. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
