05/15/2008: On Thursday, unknown gunmen kidnapped doctor Jabbar Mahroos, director of Tikrit public hospital, his assistant doctor Abdel Razzaq al-Qaisi and doctor Ahmed Salah in al-Hamra district on the road between Tikrit city and Beiji town in Salah ad Din, Iraq. There were no claims of responsibiity for the kidnapping.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
