Incident Summary:

06/13/2008: On Friday, in Jaflong village, about 60 kilometers from Sylhet, Bangladesh, Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council militants killed the previously abducted the Khasi Student Union of Dawki president, Phershal Kongwang. Kongwang was abducted on 12/16/2007, from Shyiap, a picnic spot bordering the Indo-Bangla border. The exact date of the alleged killing is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
