Incident Summary:

06/14/2008: On Saturday afternoon at 16:00, New People’s Army (NPA) rebels killed four unarmed military soldiers were killed near Sitio Odiongan, Barangay Fatima village in Paquibato district, Davao City, Philippines. The soldiers were attempting to discuss a possible joint community project with NPA leaders. It was believed that the attack was carried out in retaliation for a military operation the day before (on 06/13/2008 on Friday) in Bukidnon that killed three NPA guerrillas. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
