Incident Summary:

06/23/2008: On Monday afternoon, in front of the Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) exchange, in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan, assailants detonated an improvised explosive device wounding a teacher. According to police the time bomb was planted close to the main gate of the PTCL exchange. The PTCL exchange is located in a high security area including the Governor House and residences of senior officers and ministers. The explosion shattered some of the windowpanes of the PTCL exchange. No group claimed responsibility.
