Incident Summary:

07/01/2008: On Tuesday morning at 0500, 30 suspected New People's Army rebels burned a communication tower owned by Globe Telecom in Sitio Ban-ao, Baganga, Davao Oriental, Philippines. The attack was in response to the firm refusing to pay a tax to the rebels. The guard at the tower was injured in the attack.
