Incident Summary:

08/02/2008: On Saturday morning at 0930, one American citizen was killed and another wounded when a remote-controlled roadside bomb exploded hitting a civilian vehicle in Bagrami neighborhood in Kabul, Kabul province, Afghanistan. Two other US nationals travelling in the vehicle escaped unscathed. Shortly thereafter, Taliban insurgents claimed responsibility for the incident, however, they did not give a reason as to the motive of the attack.
