Incident Summary:

08/11/2008: On Monday, in Pikit, Cotabato, Philippines, on the Paggagawan-Pagalungan road, assailants fired from a roadblock upon a passenger bus, killing one civilian, wounding one other, and damaging the bus. The roadblock had been set up along the highway by the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) to prevent people from voting. No group claimed responsibility, although it was reported that the MILF was suspected.
