Incident Summary:

08/12/2008: On Tuesday, a female suicide bomber targeted the motorcade of the Governor of Diyala province as his canvoy was leaving the Governorate compound. The Governor, who was being accompanied by General Abdulkarim Khalaf, Commander of Operations in the Iraqi Ministry of Defence was not harmed but three civilians were killed and seven people including one policeman and one army serviceman were injured. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
