Incident Summary:

08/15/2008: On Friday, the Colombian National Army located and safely defused a land mine planted by Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebels belonging to the 15th Front in rural Alto Guadualito next to El Doncello-El Paujil road, El Paujil, Caqueta department, Colombia. Two of the bombs were composed of 154 pounds of R1 explosives while the other two contained 55 pounds of R1 explosives each. It was believed that the FARC was targeting military troops. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
