Incident Summary:

08/15/2008: On Friday morning at 0630, a bomb packed with TNT explosives was discovered in M'lang Elementary School, M'lang city, North Cotabato province, Philippines, and safely defused by military troops thereby preventing any casualties or damages to incur. Authorities suspected Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels were behind this and several other attempted bombings in retaliation for the military's successful offensive to drive them from 15 villages they had occupied in North Cotabato. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
