9/13/2008: A socket bomb was recovered from the offices of the Communist Party of Nepal (United Maoist-Leninist) in Nepalgunj, Banke, Nepal. The bomb did not detonate, and no injuries or property damage were reported. The district leader of Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha - Jwala Singh (JTMM-J) claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that the bomb was planted because the CPN-UML is against the Terai movement.
