09/22/2008: On Monday morning, unknown gunmen detonated several explosive charges on the outside walls of the Al Abaqirah Elementary School in Al Wajihiyah, Diyala province, Iraq. The bombing attack completely destroyed the school but caused no casualties. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
