9/30/2008: Around twenty members of Al-Qa ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) ambushed a communal guard patrol near Theniet El Had, Algeria. All six members of the communal guard were shot and killed. After the shooting, the victims' weapons were stolen and their vehicle was set on fire.
