Incident Summary:

10/14/2008: On Tuesday, unidentified militants abducted Dilip Singh Bey, a junior engineer of Assam’s Public Works Department, in Horiojan village, Bokajan district, Assam province, India. Bey was later assaulted and killed by the militants on or before 10/22/2008 when his body was found in a lower primary school in Sankartila village of Karbi Anglong district, Assam province, India. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
