11/16/2008: On Sunday morning at 0700, eight Central Reserved Police Force constables, including Prahlad Paswan, Subodh Kumar and Gajendra Kumar, were injured when Naxals tried to detonate the vehicle, triggering a landmine, and opened fire on the police between the district's of Gumridih and Kodegaon in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The constables were returning from Pakhanjur to Raipur after discharging their poll duties.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
