11/27/2008: On Thursday, suspected United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) militants allegedly attempted toabduct an Afghan money lender from Aidoba area of Dhubri, Assam, India. The abduction attempt failed however when the civilian managed to escape unharmed. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
