Incident Summary:
12/14/2008: On Sunday, unknown armed men killed another former commander of Nawab Bugti along with his security guard in Dera Bugti area. The victim was on his way to Sui from Dera Bugti in his pick-up truck when armed assailants intercepted his vehicle and opened indiscriminate fire, killing both of them on the spot. A spokesman for the Baloch Republican Army (BRA), Sirbaz Baloch, claimed responsibility for both incidents.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
