Incident Summary:

12/24/2008: On Wednesday, Abu Sayyaf militants burned the Datu Uddin Bahjin Central Elementary School in the Taglibi village in Patikul, Philippines. The assailants burned the school while fleeing from Marine Battalion Landing Team-5 to divert the troops' attention. There were no reports of casualties. No group claimed responsibility.
