01/05/2009: On Monday, in Mohmand, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan, assailants kidnapped 11 tribal elders. The pro-government tribal elders had traveled there to ask the Taliban to leave. No group claimed responsibility, though it is believed that the Taliban is responsible.
