Incident Summary:

03/17/2009: On Tuesday, in Lawagarh village, Latehar, Jharkhand, India, assailants set fire to and damaged four homes and a tractor and abducted six people, who are relatives of two commanders of the outlawed Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist). No group claimed responsibility, but authorities believed the Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) was responsible. There were no reported casualties.
