04/24/2009: On Friday, at about noon, near Panbari, in Kokrajhar, Assam, India, assailants fired upon the convoy of a Member of Parliament (MP), killing two security guards and one vehicle driver and wounding five Bodoland People's Front (BPF) workers and damaging 25 vehicles.No group claimed responsibility, but it was widely believed the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) was responsible.
