Incident Summary:

05/11/2009: On Monday, in the Wardhigley district in Mogadishu, Banaadir, Somalia, assailants fired mortar rounds at the presidential palace but caused no causalities or damage. This incident was part of a series of linked attacks that targeted a soccer stadium on the previous day. No group claimed responsibility although it was widley believed to be al-Shabaab al-Islamiya.
