Incident Summary:

05/22/2009: On Friday afternoon at 1300, between Mahur and Phaiding railway stations, in North Cachar Hills, Assam, India, approximately eight armed assailants fired upon a goods train, wounding two railway employees and three paramilitary members and seven police officers and damaging the train. No group claimed responsibility, but it was widely believed the Dima Halim Daogah-Jewel Garlossa (DHD-J) was responsible.
