05/29/2009: On Friday morning, in Khakriz, Kandahar, Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device exploded when it was struck by a vehicle, killing four civilians, including a child and a woman. Their vehicle was also destroyed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the Taliban was responsible.
